Curie Skłodowska two-year Individual Fellowship under the Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme of the European Union. The grant winning project was on the shadow banking system and the linkages between this system and the traditional banking sector. More recently, she has examined the activities of market-based bankruptcy-remote entities sponsored by traditional banks (ABCP conduits) and explored the potential implications for financial stability deriving from the growth of the demand for safe assets and monetary policy decisions. Angela is currently a member of the Centre for Banking Research at Cass Business School. She regularly teaches courses at undergraduate, master as well as executive level.
