ESDES is a Business School within Catholic University of Lyon engaged in education and research. It prepares future managers to lead projects in a fair and sustainable manner. The school is highly integrated in its region with a solid national reputation and growing international reputation.
The research at ESDES focuses on three fields of expertise:

The Tunisian Institute of Competitiveness and Quantitative Studies is a public establishment of non-administrative nature under the tutelage of Ministry of Development Investment and International Cooperation. The Institute carries out economic studies on behalf of public and private organizations.
Tunis Business School was officially established on 2010 and it is part of the University of Tunis. It is the first public business institution in Tunisia using English as the language of instruction and following an American approach to higher education. It offers instruction in the areas of business decision making, finance, computer science, international political economy, marketing, and accounting.
IAV’s main objective is to provide high-level multidisciplinary education, supported by its 335-strong staff of researchers-lecturers. The Institute annually provides more than 60,000 hours of courses in 70 different scientific disciplines, while also pursuing research and development objectives.
The “Université Internationale de Rabat” (UIR) is an internationally oriented, R&D-driven, research university, based in the Technopolis tech-zone in Rabat, Morocco. The university was founded in 2009 by the computer scientist Noureddine Mouaddib with the support of the Moroccan and French governments. It started its activities in September 2010, following the foundation stone-laying ceremony by H.M. King Mohammed VI. UIR is the first University in Morocco to have been set up as part of a partnership between the State and the private sector in the field of higher education. UIR counts more than 100 universities among its academic and research partners around the world, and more than 20 Erasmus + partners.

E3M-Lab specializes in the field of energy systems analysis and economics, macroeconomics and environmental economics by using and developing large-scale mathematical models based on advanced techniques of Applied Econometrics, Operations Research and Computer-based Information Systems.
Istanbul Policy Centre (IPC) is an independent policy research institute with global outreach. The mission of the Centre is to foster academic research in social sciences and its application to policy making.
ISINNOVA, the Institute of Studies for the Integration of Systems, is an independent Italian research institute supporting international, national and local public bodies for the analysis, the design, the implementation and the evaluation of sustainable policies in the fields of energy, environment, transport and mobility, urban planning, and knowledge society.
CIDOB is an independent and plural think tank based in Barcelona, dedicated to the study, research and analysis of international affairs. Created in 1973 as an International Documentation Centre of Barcelona, it is a private foundation since 1979. CIDOB is a dynamic community of analysts that works to produce and offer to all political actors –from individual citizens to international organisations– information and ideas to help formulate and promote policies for a more secure, free and fair world for everyone.
The University of Barcelona’s Regional Quantitative Analysis Group (AQR-IREA) is located in the University’s Department of Econometrics, Statistics and Applied Economy. Its staff, who number some forty professionals from Spain and other countries, conduct research in the field of applied economics and focus on urban and regional issues.
Centre International de Hautes Etudes Agronomiques Méditerranéennes – Istituto Agronomico Mediterraneo di Bari (IAMB) (CIHEAM) (Italy)
Created in 1962, the CIHEAM is a Mediterranean intergovernmental organization which works for improving sustainable agriculture and fisheries, for ensuring food and nutrition security and for developing rural and coastal territories.
Jordan Strategy Forum (JSF) is a leading think tank on economic development in Jordan, founded on August 30, 2012. JSF was established to enable the private sector to engage with all stakeholders, especially the public sector, in constructive dialogue on local economic issues and achieve comprehensive economic development.
The Centre for Banking Research (CBR) at Cass Business School promotes high calibre academic research in the field of banking and fosters the teaching of banking subjects to a high standard. Drawing on the wide experience of its core and associate members, the Centre offers expert analysis of the economic and business environment that affects the banking and financial sector.
Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM) is a non-profit, nonpartisan research centre and a think tank, focused on fostering a better understanding of sustainable development and providing timely and objective analysis on a wide range of environmental, energy and global economic issues.
The European Institute of the Mediterranean, founded in 1989, is a consortium comprising the Catalan Government, the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and Barcelona City Council. IEMed is constituted as a think tank specialised in Mediterranean relations based on a multidisciplinary and networking approach, which aims to encourage actions and projects contributing to mutual understanding, exchanges and cooperation between different Mediterranean countries.
Policy Center for the New South, formerly OCP Policy Center, is a Moroccan policy-oriented think tank based in Rabat, Morocco, striving to promote knowledge sharing and to contribute to an enriched reflection on key economic and international relations issues.
The University of Florence (UNIFI) is an important and influential centre for research and higher training in Italy, with 1,600 lecturers and internal research staff. It offers a wide range of study programmes at various levels and in all areas of knowledge.
German Jordanian University was modelled on the German applied-sciences model, characterized by their focus on putting knowledge into practice and on promoting knowledge transfer.
The financial development and innovation -DEFI- laboratory is a place to exchange ideas about economic themes. LAB’s objective is to deepen theoretical and applied scientific research and encourage the creation of new products and financial solutions that increase private sector participation in sustainable solutions in markets such as energy, water, transportation, agriculture and finance. The LAB analyzes innovative instruments and good local and international practices that can be replicated by the Tunisian financial institutions of development.
The Economic Prospective Bureau (Bureau de Prospective Economique ) of Senegal has been established in the Prime Minister Office of Senegal in February 2018, succeeding the Economic and Social Analysis Unit created in February 2016. Both have been led from their establishment by Moubarack LO, special advisor and chief economist to the Prime Minister. Since May 2019, following the constitutional reform that decided the end of the position of Prime Minister, the Economic Prospective Bureau is attached to the Secretary General of the Government. The Bureau has three main roles:
– developing exploratory and strategic studies to guide the Government work,
– coordinating the monitoring and evaluation of the Government’s departments activities,
– supporting the coordination of the National statistical system.
