Dr. Yeganeh Forouheshfar, researcher at EMEA, represented the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association at the Joint 2022 Annual Conference of the MED Confederation & the Mediterranean Commission of the European League for Economic Cooperation Conference “Enhancing Access to Finance for MSMEs in the Mediterranean Region”. The event took place on 08 July 2022 in Paris.
Dr. Yeganeh Forouheshfar intervened in the session “The role and future of the guarantee industry in the Mediterranean”. Her presentation evolved around the importance of credit guarantee schemes in the Mediterranean, and the role of counter guarantees, given the current challenges and the rising risks in the market.
