The Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association (EMEA), represented by its Founder and President, Professor Rym Ayadi, and Positive Agenda Advisory, represented by its Founder and CEO, H.E. Fathallah Sijilmassi, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the purpose to enhance collaboration on the Euro-Mediterranean and Africa ecosystems, enhance expert knowledge in the regions and support inclusive social and economic development with a particular emphasis on expertise, training, research and dissemination to support a sustainable transition. In this sense, the Parties will cooperate where and when feasible and appropriate, aiming at maximizing bilateral and multilateral Euro-Mediterranean and Euro-African cooperation from a global and sustainable perspective.
Representative of Positive Agenda Advisory to EMEA will be H.E. Fathallah Sijilmassi Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean from 2012 to 2018 and member of the EMEA and EMNES Advisory Boards. He was Ambassador to the EU (2003-2004) and to France (2005-2009). He then led the Moroccan Agency for International Investments (2009-2012). Fathallah Sijilmassi is an officer of the Légion d´honneur and grand officer in the Ordre National du Mérite of the Republic of France as well as Encomienda de Numero in the Order of Isabel la Catollica (Spain). Recently he received the award “Prix du livre économique francophone” for his book “L’avenir de l’ Europe est au Sud”, which has been published by EMEA and EMNES in cooperation CEPS.
Positive Agenda Advisory’s main activities is to provide support and advice to public and private institutions in their development strategies, their international activities as well as knowledge based and solution-oriented assessment on the main challenges and opportunities of their environment.zz
