The President of the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association – EMEA , Prof. Rym Ayadi, was the Keynote Speaker at the second session of the Global Virtual Workshop on Building Urban Economic Resilience during and after COVID19, in Latin America, Africa and Arab regions, on 17 August 2020. Prof. Ayadi presented the “TRIS development model for urban resilience”. She provided proposals on how to design urban resilience post COVID 19 in line with the TRIS development model.
The workshop was organized by the UN-HABITAT, together with its partners UNCDF and the UN Regional Commissions, and provided a global platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange on urban economic recovery and resilience.
