Prof. Rym Ayadi represented the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association – EMEA at the Inception Conference of T20 Saudi Arabia, which took place in Riyadh, on 19-20.01.2020. EMEA is an independent regional think tank based in Barcelona. The Think 20 (T20) is an engagement group comprised of think tanks whose primary challenge is to add value to the G20 process with evidence-based public policy proposals. Prof. Ayadi Participated in the task forces:
- Infrastructure Investment and Financing – Co-chaired by Raja Almarzoqi Albqami, Ph.D Faculty Member, Economics Division, Institute of Diplomatic Studies and member of the Advisory Committee of the Euro-Mediterranean Network for Economic Studies – EMNES.
- International Financial Architecture – Co-chaired by Nabil Al Mubarak, CEO of SIMAH Credit Rating Agency.
Prof. Ayadi also participated at the task forces breakout sessions. The T20 Saudi will produce the T20 Communique, listing actionable recommendations from the Task Forces. The Communique is then presented to the G20 for consideration at the G20 Summit.
