All of us in EMNES and EMEA were very happy by the announcement that H.E. Hala El Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development of Egypt, won the Arab Government Excellence Award as the best Arab minister, for her plan to significantly boost women’s workplace participation in Egypt to 40 percent by 2030.
The winners of the competition, which was organized by UAE, were announced by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Wednesday 25 November 2020.
H.E. Hala El Said is a member of the Advisory Board of the Euro-Mediterranean Network for Economic Studies – EMNES and she has actively supported the activities and events of the Network. She was the keynote speaker of the 2nd EMNES Annual Conference which took place in Cairo on 05 March 2018.
