The Conference, carried out under the auspices of the Head of Government of Tunisia Youssef Chahed and with the support of the United Nations Development Program, aims to identify the main strategic axes of development of the social and solidarity economy in Tunisia and to draw up an action plan to establish and promote the social and solidarity economy for better economic and social inclusion and contribution to the creation of wealth and jobs.
During her speech, Prof. Rym Ayadi highlighted that “Τhe cooperative and mutual model can be used as a formidable pillar for inclusive market economy in Tunisia” as well as that “An action plan should benefit from the successful cooperative, mutual and social experiences in developed economies such as Canada, Germany and the Netherlands”.
