EMNES was rebranded to be the EU-Mediterranean and African Network for Economic Studies (EMANES) as of January 2022. From 2014 to 2019, EMNES was co-funded by the European Commission under Grant Contract N° ENPI/2014/354-488 (2014-2019) and EMNES Founding Members. As of January 2020, the network is funded and coordinated by the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association.
